Ford Motor Company Philippines Inc. is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company with 49 dealerships nationwide. Ford’s current lineup of vehicles mostly consists of SUVs, crossovers, and pickups such as the Ranger, Ranger Raptor, Everest, Expedition, Explorer, and the Ecosport. Popular models in its lineup are the Ranger and Everest. Both share similar parts with each other and have been a popular choice of vehicle for those who want a powerful SUV or a powerful pickup.
In 2019, Ford Philippines released the refreshed Ranger and Everest features all-new single and Biturbo 2.0-liter engines. Ford also launched a refreshed Ecosport with new engine and transmission options to meet the needs of the market. Meanwhile, Ford has stopped production of the Fiesta, Focus, and Escape in favor of SUVs and pickups. Vehicles to look out for in 2020 are the lower trim level variants of the Everest that are coming in the coming year.
Ford trim levels are easy to decode. Ambiente is the entry-level trim variant. Visually, this trim level does not get alloy wheels; it does get steel wheels with plastic covers instead. Manual variants are also usually only available at this trim level. Trend is the middle-tier trim level which gets more features than the Ambiente but differently styled from the Titanium. Titanium is the highest spec trim level that has all the bells and whistles that Ford can provide.
